Ladies, if I were to ask you, do you know what a “Pick Up Line” is? You’d probably roll your eyes and say yes. BUT, what if I asked you, what is a “Classic Line”? You’d probably think about the designer suit in your closet or simple tailored lines in fashion that never go out of season, a classic suit! I love a classic suit just as much as the next Fashionista but my job doesn’t necessarily require me to wear a suit. Where am I going with this?
You see, in business it may not be mandatory to wear “Classic Lines” but you have to use “Classic Lines” to ask for what you want. You heard the famous phrase: Ask and it is given! There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. You have to ask the right questions to get what you want! As a fierce and fabulous female entrepreneur, it’s imperative to the growth of your business, to use “Classic Lines”. Here are 3 of my all time favorite “Classic Lines”! Why are women so afraid to ask for what they want? Why are women so afraid to ask people to buy their product or service? You see men have been using lines for years. They use lines to ask us out and they use lines to ask for money. Men aren’t afraid to ask for what they want. Would you go out on a date with me? Are you interested in looking at my business proposal? They are so comfortable and they’re not worried about what other people think. They are focused on the end result…going out on a date [OR] getting paid. Some women have closed multi-million dollar deals for other companies but fail to bring that same level of tenacity to their own business.
Asking for $100.00 can seem like a monumental task for some. I experienced this a little in the beginning of my service based business. I had to remind myself that I’d been selling for others my whole life. I sold Girl Scout cookies, chocolate, raffle tickets, jewelry, clothes, makeup, skin care products, vitamins and supplements. If you’re not sold, how can you expect anyone else to buy? Think about everything you sold for someone else.
Now, practice using “Classic Lines” to sell yourself! What stops most women in my opinion are Value And Self Worth! The more you value your product and services, the easier it will be to sell and align with the customers/clients who will gladly pay you. When you increase your Self Worth; you’ll realize you deserve to get paid. You’ll know you’re worth it! Here’s a quick exercise… Write out 5 “Classic Lines” that fit nicely with your business model. Commit to using your “Classic Lines” everyday. Practice makes permanent! Fashion This… Your confidence will soar You will attract more clients You will make more money You will get to do what you love You will be independent Remember “Classic Lines” never go out of season! It’s your life, wear it well!
